The Fiction Addiction

Please read through our submission guidelines thoroughly before submitting your book to us. Submissions that are incomplete or are missing information will slow down the reviewing process or may be denied. 

All submissions must be accompanied by the following:

• Your name and current contact information (including email address)
• The title, publisher, and ISBN of your book
• A brief synopsis of your book
• The publication date your book will be released 

Genres: The Fiction Addiction currently accepts submissions for books falling into one or more of the following genres:

• Children's Books
• Fantasy
• Historical Fiction
• Mystery
• New Age
• Romance
• Science Fiction
• Self-Help Books
• Spirituality
• Suspense
• Thriller / Horror
• Women's Issues / Women's Health

The Fiction Addiction does not accept submissions for book reviews that contain pornographic material or racist themes.

Direct Submissions (without a query) 

If you wish to submit your book directly to The Fiction Addiction without first submitting a query, you may do so. However, please remember that submitting a copy of your book directly for review does not guarantee that a review will be done. 

Things to remember when sending your book directly:

• All direct submissions must be accompanied by the information listed above in the form of a cover letter.
• Books sent to The Fiction Addiction become the property of The Fiction Addiction and will not be returned - even if a review is not written.
• Reviews sent directly to The Fiction Addiction may take up to six (6) months to process and write.
• The Fiction Addiction does not accept direct submissions for e-book or pdf formatted copies of your book. (Please read the section below on how to submit an e-book for review).
• All submissions sent directly to The Fiction Addiction will fall under our basic, free review submission process. Do not send money or payment for an expedited review if you decide to skip submitting a query. Any such payments made in this way will be ignored and promptly returned.

Queried Submissions 

Submitting a book review request prior to sending your material is the best way to ensure that we review your book. The information you provide to us in your request will be used to match your newest title with an available reviewing agent. Additionally, it will ensure direct contact between you as an author and your reviewing agent throughout the reviewing process.

• Once your request has been received, you will be contacted within three (3) days by a reviewing agent who will work with you throughout the reviewing process.
• Your reviewing agent will tell you how and where to send your material, and will confirm with you that the material has been received.
• As an added courtesy, your finished review will be sent to you prior to being published to this or any other site. This will be useful when developing a plan of action for further marketing of your title.

E-Book Submission 

The Fiction Addiction does not accept e-book copies of printed works. However, if your book is available solely as an e-book, we will accept the submission electronically. 

To submit your e-book for review, you must first submit a book review request and be sure to select "Electronically (E-Books)" when asked for your delivery method. Submissions of e-books will not be accepted unless a request has been made first.
